The new Spicy Chicken Sandwich introduced at Whataburger this past fall is now getting an upgrade.
Whataburger will be keeping this new, limited time sandwich on their menu a little longer and has also switched its recipe to include a fresh brioche bun.
Whataburger's brioche bun is touted as being lighter and fluffier than a regular bun, as well as richer and sweeter. Brioche bun recipes often call for the use of additional eggs, sugar and butter, creating a bun that is a tasty mix between a breakfast pastry and bread.
